The providers at Neuse Valley Internal Medicine are experienced internal medicine specialists who focus on treatment of medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and other health issues in patients age 16 and above. We confine our practice to the office setting, using the hospitalist staff if patients are admitted to a hospital in the area. Neuse Valley Internal Medicine is level 3 NCQA certified as a Patient Centered Medical Home.

Our patient portal went live on November 14t, 2012 and the response has been unbelievably successful and positive. Due to the overwhelming response, there may be a 24 to 48 (business) hour delay in finalizing your enrollment but we expect that the time required to activate requests will lessen after the initial demand has been serviced. Please note that if you send a question, refill request or appointment request before your portal account has been finalized by us, we will not receive the message. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours after enrolling before submitting your first request. Note that there is no online payment option at this time. We do anticipate adding those features once the enrollment demand has leveled out.

Over the next few months, we will be implement Phreesia. This is essentially a hand-held patient kiosk which allows the patient to check-in, update paperwork and pay fees with minimal involvement from our receptionist. This product is also essential to our plans to meet the numerous federal government and insurance carriers quality programs. So check back for more information on this exciting new product.
